This is very important! Make sure you understand our sizing method to be sure that you are looking at the correct pergola. The dimensions of the 2-Beam or 4-Beam Deluxe Pergolas are measured to the outside corner of the posts. This measurement does not include any of the baseboad trim options. The pergola top overhangs the columns by 16"-18" on each side, so the overall size of the pergola top is about 3 feet larger than the stated size of the pergola. For square pergolas, the dimensions for all sides will be the same.
NOTE: The posts of the 2-Beam Pergola can be moved about 8 inches closer together, but cannot be pulled further apart than the stated size. Moving the locations of the posts will not change the overall size of the pergola, but the overhangs will be longer.
NOTE: The beams and posts of the Deluxe 4-Beam Pergola cannot be changed. Be sure that the size stated is the right size for your needs, allowing for the overhanging runners and baseboard trim. If your deck or patio dictates a pergola size not listed, we will make the pergola to your exact dimensions. Be sure to discuss this with a Project Advisor.
