Optional Tube Steel Columns can be ordered to replace laminated columns. Your Tube Steel Columns are sized to meet loading conditions and local codes, then factory prime painted with a rust inhibitive modified alkyd primer. Unless factory paint or powder coating is ordered, the customer will need to finish the columns with two coats of weather resistant enamel paint. Because of the wide variety of foundations and local codes, column anchor bolts will need to be accordingly selected by the customer. Plates for attaching beams or rafters are welded to the top of the steel columns.
