Our top railing sections will match the bottom railing style in either straight or decorative. In addition to adding another level of beauty and form, the top railings also play a structural role. The top railings help square the gazebo and contribute strength. They may be removed if you prefer a clean look by selecting the "No Top Railings" option.

The top railing is about 7" high on wood gazebos and about 9" on vinyl gazebos.

There are no top railings or braces in the entry way of your gazebo even if you need additional entry ways.

If you order your gazebo with no bottom railing, or without a floor we will include taller posts to give you headroom under the top rail of 78" (6' 6"). If you need more space, talk with a Project Adviser.

If you order your gazebo with no bottom rails and no floor we highly suggest keeping the top railing for stability.
