Our top railing sections will match the bottom railing style, whether straight or decorative. In addition to adding another level of beauty and form, the top railings also play a structural role as they both square and strengthen the gazebo.

There are no top railings (or braces) in any of the entry ways. The top railing is about 7” high on wood gazebos and about 9” on vinyl gazebos.



If you order your gazebo with no bottom railing or without a floor, we will include taller posts to give you enough height under the top rail at 78” (6’ 6”). But, if you need more headroom, just talk to a Project Advisor.

They may be removed, if you prefer a clean look, by selecting the "No Top Railings" option. Though, If you order your gazebo with no bottom rails and no floor, we highly suggest keeping the top railing for stability.
