Lathe-turned posts add a slightly more formal – and much more traditional – look to your gazebo. When combined with the gentle curve of our decorative braces and the lathe-turned spindles of our decorative railings, your classic gazebo will certainly leave a dramatic impression!

The Decorative Post measures 3 ½" x 3 ½". In order for us to provide a top-of-the-line quality structure, we use a laminated post. Although the finished product looks like a solid piece of lumber, our posts are actually produced by gluing boards together. Then the posts are planned and sanded until the seams are virtually invisible. This process results in a superior quality product, and virtually eliminates the chance for posts to warp or twist. In fact, it is actually stronger than a solid piece of lumber! The standard height of an 8' post from the floor is 78", with 75 ½" head clearance. On gazebos 18' and wider, the standard height from the floor is 91", with 85 ½" head clearance.

Note: If you want taller or heavier posts, choose from the options below or talk to your Project Advisor. Some larger gazebos or structures that need additional snow or wind resistance will require larger posts.
