Our 8" x 8" Post upgrade is a must for those who share the philosophy that bigger is better.

For rough cut structures, the 8" x 8" posts are 5" x 5" #1 Grade Treated Pine posts wrapped in #1 Grade Hand Selected Cedar. This is done to ensure that there will be no warping, or twisting in your product for its lifetime. The wrapping results in a post that is sturdy yet seamless to the touch and feel.

The standard head clearance of an 8' post is approximately 89" for surface mounted pergolas. If you require taller or heavier posts, please select from the options on the side, or talk to your Project Advisor.
