Standard post - Standard posts are an extruded aluminum 3” square. These are to be set in concrete for freestanding or use the HD brackets. Wall mount models use the bracket standard.

Adding 2x6 side panels to the 3x3 post. This gives a different look, with part being recessed. Note that if using a single beam, the side plates go up over the sides of the beams. If double beam is used, the 2x6 stop at the bottom of the beams. To hide the fasteners that connect the beams to the 3x3 part of the post, a trim piece is added – this trim piece will match the end cuts of the beam

Aluminum extrusions used on posts are produced from 50% recycled aluminum. 5% from post-consumer scrap. All aluminum can be 100% recycled at the end of product life span
