Standard Post Base Trim adds a nice finish to the bottom of each post while keeping a low profile. They are mainly used to cover the mounting brackets of your pergola. Most commonly, "L" shaped brackets are used to attach the posts to a surface. It may be possible to have no base trim if desired when mounting into concrete footers.
