Our pergolas come standard with laminated posts. These posts are made by glueing four 2x6’s together. This is a much stronger method than using a single solid post, which has a tendency to warp or twist over time.

Laminated posts combine 2x6’s together with a glue that creates a bond stronger than the wood itself. These posts are then sanded and the corners rounded so the finished post measures 5" square.
