A free standing pergola can be placed anywhere you have a level surface, such as a deck, patio, concrete slab or footers. The pergola will need to be anchored down, so we send hardware to secure your structure. We include heavy duty powder coated L-brackets. If anchoring to concrete, we supply 4" wedge bolts. If attaching to your existing deck, you will need to determine what fasteners work best for your pergola (lag bolts, for example). If your area is not level, we can supply longer posts.
