The beams of our Belvedere Pergolas are heavier and stronger than other pergolas, so generally they will hold up better to the elements. While it may be heavier, this pergola is actually easier to assemble than our 2-Beam models. It has four beams that go around the entire perimeter of the structure, and posts that are made from a double 2x6 that is glued together and attached to a 2x4 bottom cap incorporating the corner braces. This in turn becomes all one piece, to prevent any warping or twisting. Be sure to discuss sizing with your Project Advisor as the beams are pre-assembled. You may choose from one of our standard sizes, or have it made to fit your specific area.
