The Savannah pavilion features a one piece tapered beam that spans the entire width of the pavilion. The beams are made of #1 Southern Yellow Pine. The beam is 5 inches thick and the height of the beam is determined by the size of the structure and local codes. The beams bolt or nail to the top of the columns. Care should be taken during assembly - a crane is required for most sizes.
