All wood components can be stained, painted, or left natural. It is highly advisable that any parts that are exposed to the elements (fascia) be finished with a stain, either by our factory or the customer, to keep them from turning gray. Compnents that will not be expsed (Roof decking) can be left natural, but will also turn gray, but the process will take longer. If you like the natural look, a clear sealer can be used to protect the wood, without changing the color.
