Sitting at the Center of the Zoo! When the Turtle Back Zoo in Essex County, New Jersey, was forced to replace an aging and unsafe barn at the center of the park, they could think of no better structure than a gazebo. Talking about creating plans to re-purpose the space, the facility manager said, “We decided a nice sitting area would be a great addition to the center of the Zoo.” After deciding on a 12x24 Red Cedar Oval Double Roof Gazebo, they went with 10 installed bench sections to give everyone a spot to grab a seat. The Heron Copper weather-vane was a charming addition (which has since been discontinued, check out our other weathervanes). The zoo was surprised at the ease of delivery, and couldn’t believe how quickly we shipped their fully assembled structure! The facility manager was overwhelmed with how well the entire project went, saying “We couldn’t be happier with the way our center part of the zoo has turned out, as it has become a great spot for all our visitors.”
